The New Praise Support Society announces 2023 Global New Praise Video Festival! We are moving our festivals completely online in order to help everyone stay safe during a global pandemic. You can now participate in a global festival from wherever you are, with a click of a button—how easy is that! Let us praise God and be joyful even in this dark time. We pray that God’s protection and blessing be with all of you. (Depending on the national / local guidelines, and prioritizing the health and safety of everyone involved, coordinators can decide to hold an in-person festival.)

​새찬양후원회는 2023년 글로벌 새찬양 동영상 축제를 주최합니다. 코로나 바이러스로 인해 함께 모여 축제를 여는 것이 불가능하게 된 많은 도시, 나라들을 위해 모든 축제 과정을 온라인으로 옮기기로 결정했습니다. 이제 여러분은 어디서든, 클릭 한번으로 국제 페스티벌에 참가할 수 있게 되었습니다. 어려운 상황이지만 하나님을 함께 찬양하고 기뻐하기를 원합니다. 여러분 모두에게 하나님의 보호하심과 축복이 함께 있기를 기도합니다. (국가 / 지역 지침에 따라, 또한 모든 관계자의 건강과 안전을 최우선으로 하여 코디네이터가 대면 페스티벌 개최를 결정할 수 있습니다.)

Praise Music Performance Guidelines
​찬양 연주 부문 안내

  1. Anyone under the age of 23 can participate.

  2. Participants submit a video link of their praise performance and the application form (below).

  3. Instrumental (classical or indigenous) or vocal praise are allowed. Solo, ensemble, or choir (over 20 people) can participate.

  4. Participants* may submit up to 2 performances. The total length of the video(s) must not exceed 7 min. (*Choir must submit 2 performances, of which at least one song in English. Total length of the videos must not exceed 9 min. for choir.) Use your time wisely to show your spirituality, musicality, and talent.

  5. The video must be a one-shot video taken by a single camera without any edits after filming. Edited videos will be disqualified.

  6. The chosen songs, especially instrumental performances, should have a clear gospel message, like arrangements of well-known hymns or praise music.

  7. Global deadline is end of October, unless specified by local coordinator for your city.

  8. Winners will be announced online. Awards and certificates will be arranged by NPSS headquarters and distributed through local coordinators.

  9. NPSS has the full right to showcase the submitted videos on its YouTube channel.

  10. NPSS will select one participant from each continent as “Special Winners,” who may be invited to perform internationally in the future (under the right circumstances).

  11. There is no application fee this year.

  12. The music teacher’s bank information is needed. The NPSS scholarship will be awarded to the music teacher to provide lessons. We prefer WorldRemit or Paypal accounts (teacher pays any transaction fees that might occur). Without this information, we will not be able to award the scholarships to the winner (you will still receive the certificate). If a coordinator of a city or a country can distribute the awards to the participants, you don’t need to send us this info.)

  13. The winner of a previous festival can participate and be awarded. However, if the award is equal or lesser value as their previous award, the participant will not receive the scholarship. For example, if the previous year's Gold award recipient receives a Grand prize, they will receive the scholarship; however, if they receive Gold, Silver, or Bronze, they will be awarded but will not receive the scholarship.

  1. 만 23세 미만은 누구나 참가 가능합니다

  2. 참가자들은 아래 신청서와 찬양 연주 비디오 링크를 제출합니다.

  3. 기악 (전통 악기 포함), 성악, 앙상블, 합창 (20인 이상) 등 모든 장르가 가능합니다.

  4. ​참가자*들은 최대 두 곡까지 연주가 가능합니다. 두 동영상이 총 7분을 넘지 않도록 합니다. (*합창부문은 총 두 곡을 제출해야하며 그 중 한 곡은 영어로 되어있어야 합니다. 합창은 두 동영상이 총 9분을 넘지 않도록 합니다.) 자신의 기량을 충분히 발휘할 수 있도록 시간을 사용하기를 권장합니다.

  5. 동영상은 하나의 카메라로 한번에, 후 편집 없이 촬영해야 합니다. 촬영 후 편집한 영상은 정확한 심사가 불가능하므로 실격처리됩니다.

  6. 기악찬양은 잘 알려진 찬송가 편곡처럼 복음메세지가 분명한 곡이어야 합니다.

  7. 접수마감일은 지역 코디네이터의 별다른 통지가 없다면 10월 말입니다.

  8. 입상자는 온라인으로 발표됩니다. 상과 증서는 새찬양후원회 본부에서 발행하고 각 도시 코디네이터가 출력과 배송을 책임집니다.

  9. 새찬양후원회는 제출된 동영상의 모든 권리를 소유하며 입상자들의 동영상은 유튜브채널에 발표합니다.

  10. 새찬양후원회는 각 대륙에서 특별입상자를 선발합니다. 특별입상자들은 안전한 여행이 가능한 미래에 다른 나라에서 초청연주를 할 수 있습니다.

  11. ​올해 참가비는 없습니다.

  12. 새찬양장학금을 수여하기 위한 참가자의 음악선생님 은행정보가 필요합니다. 선생님의 WorldRemit, 또는 Paypal 구좌를 신청서에 적어주세요. (발생할 수 있는 수수료는 선생님이 부담합니다.) 만약 신청서에 선생님의 은행정보가 없으면 입상자 상장은 발급되지만 장학금은 받을 수 없습니다. (그 도시나 국가의 코디가 전담해서 보내는 경우는 예외입니다.)

  13. 전년도 입상자는 금년에 참가하여 상을 받을 수 있습니다. 그러나 그 전과 같거나 낮은 상을 받은 경우 장학금은 받지 않습니다. 예를들어 전년도 금상 수상자는 대상을 받으면 장학금을 받지만 같은 금상, 또는 은상이나 동상을 받으면 상은 받되 장학금은 받지 못합니다.

Video Submission Guideline for Praise Music Performance
​찬양 연주 부문 비디오 제출 안내

  1. Your video must be recorded in one continuous take by a single camera.

  2. Edited videos using applications and programs will be disqualified.

  3. Your face must appear within the video frame at all times. For instrumental performances, you must also show the engaged body part, such as hands. 

  4. Begin recording your submission by saying your name, age, city, and country, then say “I participate in 2023 Global New Praise Video Festival.” Start performing your selected piece right after, without editing or cutting. If you are too young to say the above statement, your parent, guardian, or teacher may do so instead. In such cases, the face of the speaker must appear in the video.

  5. Only send video links (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) as a submission. A video file (.MPEG-4, .mov, .wmv, .avi, etc.) will not be considered.

  6. Submit up to 2 video links. In total the length of the video(s) must not exceed 7 min. (9 min. for choir).

  1. 동영상은 하나의 카메라로 한번에, 끊지말고 촬영해야 합니다.

  2. 촬영 후 애플리케이션이나 프로그램을 사용해 편집한 영상은 실격처리됩니다.

  3. 동영상 촬영 시 항상 프레임안에 참가자의 얼굴이 나와야 합니다. 기악찬양은 연주 시 사용되는 신체부위(손이나 팔 등)도 함께 촬영되어야 합니다. 

  4. 동영상 촬영 처음에 이름, 나이, 도시, 및 국가를 말한 후 "저는 2023년 글로벌 새찬양축제에 참가합니다" 라고 말합니다. 그 후 편집으로 끊지 말고 찬양을 바로 시작하도록 합니다. 나이가 너무 어려서 위 문장을 말하기 어렵다면 부모나 선생님이 대신 말해줄 수 있습니다. 이 경우 말하는 사람 얼굴이 동영상에 나와야 합니다.

  5. 유튜브, 페이스북 등에 업로드된 비디오 링크만 제출합니다. 비디오 파일은 실격처리 됩니다.

  6. ​동영상 링크 두개까지 제출가능합니다. 합창을 제외한 모든 부문들은 총 7분을, 합창부문은 총 9분을 넘지 않도록 합니다.

Computer Graphics (CG) Guidelines
컴퓨터 그래픽 (CG) 부문 공지

The new Computer Graphics (CG) category welcomes videos of children’s praise enhanced by creative uses of computer graphics. The message of the videos should be biblical, evangelistic, and intended to encourage young people to praise God. We welcome all languages; however, English closed captions (CC) and/or subtitles should be provided for all audiences, including all instrumental music (the lyrics should be provided in English). The video submission should not exceed 15 min. There is no age limit for this category this year.

2022년부터 컴퓨터 그래픽 (CG) 부문이 추가됩니다. 이것은 어린이 찬양에 CG 가 추가해 원곡의 메시지를 효과적으로 강화한 영상물 입니다. 곡의 메시지는 성서적, 복음적, 그리고 아이들찬양을 권면하는 내용이어야 합니다. 모든 언어를 환영합니다. 그러나 전 세계 청중을 위해 영어 자막(CC)을 제공해야 합니다. 동영상 길이는 15분을 넘지 않도록 합니다. 금년 이 부문은 연령제한이 없습니다.
